With Matt Bradley facing a double team every time he got inside, Hyder became the #1 option from outside. In the back and forth game against Team GIDA, the ball gravitated towards his hand every time a play was needed down the stretch. Whether this meant getting off a shot against smaller opponents or forcing turnovers on the defensive end, the ball was in his hand! StrapStars upgraded their firepower with the addition of Dondre Bausley! Fresh off the state playoffs, Bausley was relaxed and hitting from all cylinders. In Game 1 against Ayala HS, he continuously knocked down the open three on his way to 23 points in the blowout victory. Game 2 was about getting to the lane! Bausley finished the contest with a Game High 20 points by creating contact at the rim for a variety of layups and clutch free throws to hand Sniper Squad their FIRST loss of the season.
