Tony Snell’s contract will be under the Chicago Bulls‘ control next season after the club picked up his club option for the 2015-16 campaign.
Snell, the 20th overall pick in the 2013 draft, averaged 4.5 points and 1.6 rebounds per game in 77 games as a rookie last season.
The New Mexico product excelled during the summer, averaging 20.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.8 assists in better than 30 minutes per game. He made 50 percent of his 3-point attempts and was named to the All-NBA Summer League First Team.
Snell’s option is worth $1,535,880.
